PRAYER :- To bail in Cr No.129/2022 on the file of the respondent police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused herein, who was arrested on 15.08.2022 for the alleged offence under Sections 4(1)(aaa) TNP Act, in Crime No.129 of 2022, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 2.The allegation against the petitioner is that on 15.08.2022, the petitioner was found in illegal possession of 1020 bottles of liquor, 180ml each. Hence, the complaint.

3.On the side of the petitioner, it is stated that the petitioner is in custody from 15.08.2022. The petitioner had bought the liquor only for his relative's marriage function. A false case was foisted against him. Hence, prays to release him on bail. 4.On the side of prosecution, it is stated that the petitioner is having 35 previous cases, out of which, 31 cases were ended in conviction and four cases are pending. CRL OP(MD). No.17038 of 2022 5.Considering the nature of offence, bad antecedents of the petitioner and also considering the quantity of liquor possessed by the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to release the petitioner on bail.

6.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
