Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st and 2nd respondents to pay Rs.1/- as a mark of token compensation for their slackness and inaction in their official duty and not allowed or not providing option to rectify mistakes of the SGST Authority in the GSTN Network of the 2nd respondent.

ORDER
The Writ Petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to pay Rs.1/- as a mark of token compensation for their slackness and inaction in their official duty and not allowed or not providing option to rectify mistakes of the SGST Authority in the GSTN Network of the 2nd respondent.

2. This Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself, after hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondent Nos.1, 3 to 5.
3. The petitioner appears to have been put to hardship on account of repeated demands without proper intimation, resulting in harassment at the hands of the respondents. It is noticed that the petitioner has gone back and forth however it is not held any positive result. Be that as it may, the petitioner has brought to the notice of this Court certain defects in the GST portal, which is administered by the second respondent.
4. Considering the same, liberty is granted to the petitioner to address the issue specifically to the second respondent by way of a detailed representation, seeking rectification of the defects in the GST portal so as to enable the Assessing Officer to carry out corrections, if any.
5. This Court is of the view that the grievance of the petitioner appears to be genuine. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the petitioner to give a suitable representation to the second respondent for 3/6
rectification of the defects in the GST portal, which would not only benefit the petitioner but also the general public. On receipt of such representation, the second respondent shall consider the same and take appropriate action for rectification of the defects, after proper internal consultation.
