ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking for a direction to the respondent No.2 police to pass suitable orders for payment of compensation in respect of the death of the petitioner's son, Ambalraj as per Enquiry Case No.21/2021 dated 21.04.2021. 2.As per the records, the application filed by the petitioner seeking compensation under victim compensation scheme is pending with the respondent No.3/the District Legal Services Authority. It is informed by the Registry that the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate concerned stated to have issued notices asking the petitioner to appear on 22.04.2021 in respect of the petition filed by the petitioner for compensation.

3.Since the enquiry in respect of compensation to be paid has already been initiated, this Petition is disposed of directing the respondent No.3 to expedite the enquiry in respect of compensation to be paid and dispose of the petition filed by the petitioner as quickly as possible. No costs.
