ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed to direct the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.07.2019 and direct the first respondent to release the petitioner's pension and other monetary benefits, within a stipulated time frame that may be fixed 1/3
by this Court.
2.According to the petitioner, he filed W.P.(MD)No.11577 of 2018 before this Court, challenging the transfer order dated 03.05.2018, transferring him from the third respondent Branch to the fourth respondent Branch on the ground that the transfer order is punitive in nature. The transfer order was served on the petitioner only on 21.05.2018. When the said Writ Petition was taken up for hearing on 30.05.2018, this Court has granted an order of statusquo. Thereafter, the petitioner has given a representation to the respondents, seeking to release his salary from 08.05.2018 onwards. The same has not been considered. In the mean time, the petitioner retired from service on 31.05.2019, on attaining the age of superannuation, without prejudice to the result of pending W.P.(MD) No.11577 of 2018.
Thereafter, the petitioner has sent a representation dated 25.07.2019 to the first respondent, seeking to release pension and other monetary benefits. However, the same has not been considered, so far. Hence, the petitioner has come out with the present Writ Petition.
3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondents. 4.Considering the limited relief sought for in the Writ Petition, without deciding the case on merits, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.07.2019 on merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
