ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking to expedite the proceedings in O.S.No.137 of 2023 on the file of the Additional District Court, Srivilliputhur, Virudhunagar District and to dispose of the same within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. The first respondent herein filed a petition in O.S.No.137 of 2023 on the file of the Additional District Court, Srivilliputhur, Virudhunagar District, against the petitioner and respondent Nos.2 to 16, seeking recovery of money from the petitioner and respondent Nos.1 to 16.

3. Since no adverse orders are going to be passed against the respondents, notice to the respondents is dispensed with. 2/4

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that this Court may issue a direction to the Additional District Court, Srivilliputhur, Virudhunagar District to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.137 of 2023 within a reasonable time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

5. In such view of the matter, this Court is of the considered opinion that without going into the merits of the case, it would be suffice to issue a direction to the trial Court to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.137 of 2023 as expeditiously as possible.
