ORDER
The present writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus, forbearing the revenue officials from interfering in the possession of the writ petitioner in Survey Nos.27/1A and 27/1B in Rajendrapuram Revenue Village, Aranthangi Taluk, Pudukottai District.
2. According to the petitioner, the above said survey numbers are his private patta lands and the respondent authorities are attempting to lay a road on the alleged ground that is is shown as a pathway in the FMB sketch.
3. The learned Special Government Pleader, on written instructions, submits that both the survey numbers are private lands as per the revenue records. In view of the above said facts, there shall be a direction that the respondent authorities shall not lay any road in these survey numbers without resorting to acquisition proceedings. 2/4
4. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
