ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed to direct the Respondent to register and release the Sale Deed dated 22.11.2024 executed by the Petitioner and presented on 22.11.2024 Receipt No. TP/201480350/2024 through online portal in respect of the property situated in Survey No. 78/4A measuring an extent of 5 cents in Kommadikottai village, Santhankulam Taluk, Thoothukudi District.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the respondent has orally refused to register the same, citing that the layout is unapproved.

3.Even though there is an oral refusal, unless a written refusal is granted, the same cannot be challenged by the petitioner. Therefore, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directed

the respondent to consider the petitioner's case and register and release the sale deed dated 22.11.2024 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, in accordance with law.

4. With these observations, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
