The instant Writ Petition has been filed by a pensioner, seeking a writ of Mandamus, directing the fifth respondent to take necessary action on the petitioner's claim application and subsequently directing the second respondent to take necessary action.

As it could be seen from the typed set of papers, the petitioner has raised a medical claim before the District Level Empowerment Committee, which has considered the same in favour of the writ petitioner and passed an order on 13.01.2010 and has forwarded the same to the second respondent herein. The second respondent, in turn, by his communication dated 24.09.2024 has forwarded the same to the sixth respondent along with all the relevant medical records.

3. In view of the fact that the District Level Empowerment Committee has already recommended the petitioner's claim, there shall be a direction to the sixth respondent herein to disburse the eligible medical claim, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
