ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the first respondent to consider the representation dated 23.05.2025, seeking transfer of the patta in respect of the land comprised in Survey No.311/2 in Anaipatti Road, Musuvanoothu Village, Nilakottai Taluk, Dindigul District. 2.Heard the arguments of Mr.C.Muthusaravanan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.It is the case of the petitioner that the subject property was purchased by the petitioner under SARFASI proceedings and a sale certificate was issued in favour of the petitioner by the Authorised Officer of the Union Bank of India on 02.08.2022. Based on the said sale certificate, the petitioner submitted a representation before the first respondent on 23.05.2025, seeking issuance of patta in respect of the five items of the property covered by the sale certificate. It is seen from the typed set of papers that in respect of four items, mutation had already taken place. However, in respect of 0.39.50 Ares of land in Survey No. 311/2, mutation had not taken place in favour of the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation submitted by the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law. 5.In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 23.05.2025 and pass final orders on

its own merits within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and other interested parties. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
