Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents 1 and 2 and the learned Assistant Solicitor General of India appearing for respondents 4 and 5.

2. The petitioner is the defacto complainant in C.C. No.271 of 2019 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Keeranur. The petitioner is a police constable. Her grievance is that on account of the abscondance of her husband who is the accused in that case, the matter was not being speeded up. Hence, this criminal original petition came to be filed.

3. This Court suo motu impleaded the Regional Passport Officer as well as the High Commission of India and requested the learned Assistant Solicitor General of India to extend all possible assistance so that the petitioner will get justice. I am happy to record that due to the efforts taken by the learned Assistant Solicitor General of India, the whereabouts of the accused could be ascertained. Once the whereabouts were ascertained, immediately he came down to India and it is stated that the proceedings have also concluded.

4. The matter has become infructuous. This criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.

5. This Court records its sincere appreciation for the assistance rendered by the learned Assistant Solicitor General of India.
