"This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 8th respondent to conduct the annual Pookuzhi Chithirai Festival in Arulmighu Mariamman temple, Pudhupalayam @ Rajapalayam in a rescheduled timetable this year with necessary and adequate police protection and regularly in the ensuing years.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for all the respondents submitted that all the festivals are being conducted annually in a peaceful manner.

3. Recording the submission, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed."
