ORDER

(Order of the Court was delivered by G.R.Swaminathan, J.) Heard both sides.

2.The writ petitioner is a resident of E.Ammapatti Village. His case is that in Survey No.890/5, the fifth respondent has committed encroachment. The fifth respondent denied the said allegation. 3.The learned Government Advocate made available the relevant revenue record. It is seen therefrom that Survey No.890/5 corresponding to Survey No.318/1 has been classified as "street". 2/4

4.We, therefore, direct the third respondent to conduct survey after issuing notice to all the interested parties. If the survey result indicates the existence of any encroachment in the street (Survey No.890/5), it shall be removed by adopting due process of law. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
