2. I went through the contents of the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition as well as the materials enclosed in the typed set of papers.

3. The petitioner seeks restoration of electricity supply for the petition mentioned residential building.

4. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents pointed out that energy theft was detected and that assessment order was also issued. As on date, the assessment order is holding the field. It has 2/4

not been stayed or set aside. Unless the petitioner pays the assessment charges, the question of restoration will not arise.

5. I endorse the stand taken by the respondents. This writ petition stands dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
