O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 3rd respondent to cancel the patta / town survey land register, which was illegally changed on the name of the temple and consequently revert back the patta (pattayam) in the name of hereditary trustees of (Late) Chokkayeeammal till the disposal of the civil suit in O.S.No.829 of 2017 which is pending before this District Munsif Court, Madurai Town.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that pending adjudication in the civil suit filed in OS No.829/2017 pending before the District Court, Madurai, the concerned authorities have changed the names in the patta with respect to the subject property.

4.Needless to say, any change can only be effected based on the outcome in the civil suit regarding the property in question.

5. With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
