This Writ Petition has been filed to quash the Impugned Order in Na.Ka.No.98/Se.Mu.Aa./U.Ka.K.Serai/2019, dated 26.09.2019 passed by the first respondent and also sought for a direction to the second respondent to grant permission and necessary protection to celebrate the Krishna Jayanthi and Uriyadi Festival is re-scheduled on 11.10.2019 at 07.00 p.m at Mutharamman Kovil in Maruthamputhur, Mukkudal, Tirunelveli District.

The petitioner seeking permission and also necessary protection to celebrate Krishna Jayanthi and Uriyadi Festival is re-scheduled on 11.10.2019 at 07.00 p.m at Mutharamman Kovil in Maruthamputhur, Mukkudal, Tirunelveli District. The said request was rejected by the second respondent for the reason that already there was a complaint registered in Crime No.222 of 2019 and the same has been referred before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Cheranmahadevi, Tirunelveli District to initiate the proceedings https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.(MD)No.21250 of 2019 under Section 107 of Cr.P.C. the same is pending. Further, the date for celebration of the function rescheduled and the same also lapsed.
3. Considering the facts and circumstances, the petitioner is directed to approach the Revenue Divisional Officer, Cheranmahadevi, Tirunelveli District in the proceedings under Section 107 of Cr.P.C and the Revenue Divisional Officer is directed to conduct enquiry with the petitioner and the counter parties after issuing notice and pass order, within a period of Two weeks, from the date of receipt of copy of the order.
