ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.S.RAMESH, J.) The present Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed on the ground that the second respondent had illegally detained the petitioner's husband from 07.08.2023 onwards.

2.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner's husband has been remanded to judicial custody on 18.08.2023 in connection with a case in Crime No.366/2023 for offence under Sections 328 and 379 IPC on the file of the Palani Town Police Station. As such the detention cannot be said to be illegal and hence, no effective orders can be passed in the present Habeas Corpus Petition. Accordingly this petition stands closed. (M.S.R.,J.)
