ORDER
The Writ Petition has been filed, invoking Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking orders, to direct the third respondent to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner to board her house situated at Door No.3/86, Mela Theru, Samayapuram Via, Maruthur, Lalgudi Taluk, Trichy District pursuant to the order passed by the second respondent in Na.ka.No.Aa.1-2402-2023, dated 25.08.2023 under Rule 21 of Tamil Nadu Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2009.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner being the mother of the fifth respondent has filed a petition invoking the provisions of Senior Citizens Act and the second respondent has passed an order directing the fifth respondent and his brother to vacate the premises within 15 days; that the fifth respondent has preferred an appeal before the first respondent and the first respondent vide order, dated 21.11.2023 has confirmed the order of the second respondent and that even thereafter, the fifth respondent has refused to vacate the premises. But on the other hand, the fifth respondent's brother has already vacated the premises and that the petitioner was constrained to give representation to the third respondent, but there was no action till now.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State would submit that the representation of the petitioner is pending with the third respondent.
4. Considering the above, the third respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation, taking note of the order passed 3/5
by the respondents 1 and 2 and pass orders within one week from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
