Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to conduct an enquiry and dispose the petitioner's appeal, dated 24.04.2024 submitted in regard to cancel the Patta issued to the respondents 6 to 11 by the 2nd respondent in the property of the petitioner's father situated in S.No.408/1 (Patta No.101) of Kombaipatti Village, Dindigul East Taluk, Dindigul District within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

This writ petition is filed for a mandamus to the 1st respondent to conduct an enquiry and dispose the petitioner's appeal, dated 24.04.2024 with regard to cancel the patta issued to the respondents 6 to 11 by the 2nd respondent in the property of the petitioner's father situated in S.No. 408/1 (Patta No.101) of Kombaipatti Village, Dindigul East Taluk,

2. The case of the petitioner is that the 2nd respondent without conducting any survey or field visit, had issued patta to the respondents 6 to 11 for the petitioner's father's property. Therefore, the petitioner filed an appeal to the 1st respondent on 24.04.2024. Since no action has been taken on the side of the 1st respondent, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. Considering the request of the petitioner, a mandamus is issued to the 1st respondent to conduct an enquiry and dispose the petitioner's appeal, dated 24.04.2024 within a period of two (2) months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands allowed. No costs.
