O R D E R
********* (Order of the Court was made by PUSHPA SATHYNARAYANA,J) This Writ Petition is filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the grievance of the Petitioner Sangam as mentioned in the representations, dated 1.2.2021 and 5.10.2021.
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court. 3.The case of the Petitioner is that he is the President of Nathathupatti Grama Makkal Nala Sanam, Nathathupatti Village, Sattur Panchayat Union, Virudhunagar District which was formed with an object to enrich and improve the welfare of the village people. Though several welfare activities were carried out by the Petitioner Sangam, pointing out certain grievances, the Petitioner Sangam has submitted representations on 1.2.2021 and 5.10.2021 to the respondents and the same has not been considered so far by the respondents. Hence the Petitioner has come forward with the present Writ Petition for the relief stated supra.
4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents1 to 3 would submit that it suitable direction is given to the authorities concerned, they are ready to consider the representations of the Petitioner Sangam, within the time frame fixed by this Court.
5.In view of the above submission, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the Petitioner Sangam, directs the respondents 4 and 5 to consider the representations of the Petitioner Sangam, dated 1.2.2021 and 5.10.2021 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and other interested parties, if any, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Action Taken Report shall be communicated to the Petitioner Sangam by the authorities concerned, immediately thereafter. 2/3
6.With these directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
