PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records from the first respondent in his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.Oo.Ni.6/2511/2015, dated 13.11.2015 and to quash the same with a consequential direction investing the petitioner the power of signing the cheque.

This writ petition is filed as against the order passed by the District Collector, Ramanathapuram, taking away the cheque signing power of the petitioner for the year 2015. 2.Today(08.01.2024), when this writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner submits that the prayer sought for by the petitioner has now become infructuous and he has also made an endorsement to that effect. 2/5
