ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's appeal memorandum dated 15.06.2022, as expeditiously as possible within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.

3. The petitioner purchased the property in T.S.No.3A1A, Block No.20, Ward No.D, Patta No.GR542, measuring to an extent of 2834 sq.mts., situated at Kodaikanal, on 11.10.2012. While being so, the third and fourth respondents created fraudulent documents and got the patta mutated in their names on 21.02.2020. When the petitioner came to know that fraudulent patta was issued in favour of the respondents 3 and 2/4

4, the petitioner filed an appeal before the second respondent on 15.06.2022. Since no action was taken on the appeal, the petitioner submitted a representation on 15.09.2022 for speedy disposal of the appeal. Even thereafter, no action was taken. Hence, the petitioner filed the above writ petition for the aforesaid relief.

4. It is seen that the petitioner's appeal is kept pending by the second respondent from the year 2022 without any justification and therefore, I am inclined to issue a direction to the second respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 15.06.2022, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
