ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed seeking orders to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to take action against the respondents 3 to 5 for spreading false information and defamation against the writ petitioner through publishing News Paper and News Television Channel and also threatening the writ petitioner based on her complaints dated 14.06.2024 and 19.08.2024.

2. Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that they are not having any power or 2/4

jurisdiction to go into the defamation complaint and the writ petitioner can very well file a private complaint.

4. Recording the same, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. The writ petitioner is at liberty to file a private complaint, if so advised. No costs.
