This writ petition has been filed challenging the impugned order, dated 22.06.2018, passed by the second respondent, demoting the petitioner from the post of Revenue Assistant to the post of Village Administrative Officer.

Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents has placed on record the written instructions received by him from the second respondent, dated 20.09.2024, informing him that subsequent to the filing of this writ petition, even though an interim order was granted in this writ petition with regard to the implementation of the

impugned order, the petitioner had joined duty as Village Administrative Officer on 07.05.2019. Thereafter, he was also promoted as Revenue Assistant on 30.05.2019 and he joined in the post of Revenue Assistant on 03.06.2019. In view of the same, nothing survives for further adjudication in this writ petition, as the petitioner has given consent for implementation of the impugned order and also joined duty in the demoted post and thereafter, he has also been granted promotion.

3. After recording the aforementioned fact, this writ petition is disposed of as infructuous. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner, in case he has not been paid his monetary benefits, to approach this Court once again, for the said purpose in the manner known to him under law. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 20.09.2024 NCC :
