ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed to direct the first respondent to pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation dated 06.07.2019, regarding the petitioner's notional promotion as Bill Collector / Junior Assistant with effect from 1997 on par with the petitioner's juniors and similarly placed persons, based on the proceedings No.32872/eg 3/97-1, ehs;: 24.10.1997 of the Director of Municipal Administration, Chennai and revised pension proposals calculating the petitioner's notional promotion and increments on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.(MD) No.21498 of 2019 par with the petitioner's juniors may be ordered to be sent to the Assistant Director of Local Fund Audit, Chennai, within a specified time frame, that may be fixed by this Court.
2.Though the petitioner has made various averments and sought for larger relief, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that if a direction is issued to the first respondent to pass orders on the representation of the petitioner, dated 06.07.2019, it would suffice.
3.Considering the aforesaid submission and the restricted relief, without deciding the issues on merits, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 06.07.2019 on merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
