Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 4 and 5 to grant permission to install flex boards on 04.08.2025 at kalakkadu - Nanguneri Road in Tirunelveli District along the stretch between Padalaiyarkulam Village Limit to Kadampoduvalvu Village limit by considering the petitioner's representations dated 19.07.2025 and 25.07.2025 and petitioner's payment receipts dated 23.07.2025 paid to the respondents 4 and 5.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus to direct the respondents 4 and 5 to grant permission to install flex boards on 04.08.2025 at kalakkadu - Nanguneri Road in Tirunelveli District along the stretch between Padalaiyarkulam Village Limit to Kadampoduvalvu Village limit by considering the petitioner's representations dated 19.07.2025 and 25.07.2025 2/5

and petitioner's payment receipts dated 23.07.2025 paid to the respondents 4 and 5.

2. The petitioner has made an application based on the strength of the Act 33 of 2025 amending the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Panchayats Act, 1994, which incorporated Chapter IX-B.

3. It is noticed that the petitioner has paid necessary charges for putting up the flex board on 23.07.2025.

4. The learned counsel for the respondents submits that the petitioner's representation/application will be considered and disposed of.

5. Recording the above submission, the writ petition stands disposed of by directing the respondents 2 and 3 to pass appropriate orders on the aforesaid representations, dated 19.07.2025 and 25.07.2025 as expeditiously as possible. No costs.
