ORDER

This writ petition has been filed challenging the order dated 14.12.2017 passed by the 2nd respondent with consequential direction to the first respondent to disburse the balance compensation amount of Rs. 90,000/- under the head of "Chief Minister's Uzhavar Pathukappu Thittam" to the petitioner for demise of his wife, namely Ammakannu by dispensing with the production of FIR as well as the Post Mortem report, within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the entire bundle has already been handed over to the petitioner along with change of vakalat. However, till today, the petitioner failed to 2/4

engage any new counsel on record to report before this Court on his behalf.

3. When the matter is called for hearing today, no one has appeared on behalf of the petitioner either by person or through new counsel on record. Hence, this writ petition is dismissed for default.
