Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner seeks issuance of patta for survey No.588 of Karunkalakudi Village, Melur Taluk.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader submitted that the said survey number has been classified as "Paarai". Such a land cannot be alienated or patta issued. The petitioner's request cannot be accepted.
