O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent herein to alter the FIR in Crime No.316 of 2017 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Gandarvakottai Police, Station, Pudukkottai, in view of the complaint of the petitioner, dated 01.02.2018 for arraying the driver of the vehicle involved in the accident and to file final report after conducting investigation.

2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) would submit that it is the case of hit and ran and now the petitioner implicating https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.10847 of 2018 some other vehicle and therefore, the second respondent has to investigate the same.

3.Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now. However, the second respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report after investigating the matter within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
