Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent Nos.1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.12.2015 and to give adequate police protection to the petitioner and her husband, namely P.Vijayakumar and the petitioner's husband's parents for their life and liberty, within the time stipulated by this Court. This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first and second respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.12.2015, seeking police protection.
2. The grievance of the petitioner is that, she married one Vijayakumar, who belongs to Hindu Arundhathiyar Community. Now, the parents of the petitioner are giving life threat to them. 3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the first and second respondents, on instructions, submitted that based on the petitioner's complaint, enquiry has been conducted and now, it is closed.
4. Considering the fact that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, enquiry has been conducted and thereafter, the complaint has been closed, no further order is required to be passed in the present Writ Petition. Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
