The present writ appeals have been filed against the order, dated 09.12.20215, passed in W.P(MD)Nos.3328 and 3329 of 2015.

2. The Writ petitioners were denied 'No Objection Certificate' by the Superintendent of Police, for them to participate in the selection process of Special Sub-Inspector of Police within the reservation of 20% earmarked for constables etc.

3. The learned Single Judge has dismissed the writ petitions accepting the reasons stated by the Superintendent of Police for denying the 'No Objection Certificate'.

4. The learned counsel for the appellants submitted that both the appellants since had been promoted as Special Sub-Inspector of Police.
