PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to reinstate the petitioner in Service by revoking his suspension of service dated 28.10.2024, by considering his representation dated 11.06.2025, within the period stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed by a Revenue Assistant working in the respondent Corporation seeking a mandamus to reinstate him after revoking the order of suspension, dated 28.10.2024. 2.A perusal of the records reveal that due to dispute within the family members, an FIR has been registered as against the writ petitioner and it has nothing to do with the performance of the official duty. Based upon the FIR, the petitioner has been placed under suspension from 28.10.2024, onwards. The petitioner has given a representation on 11.06.2025, to review the order of suspension.

3.Considering the fact that the petitioner suspension is based upon the FIR arising out of the family dispute and it has nothing to do with the performance of the official duty and the fact that the petitioner is under suspension for more than 10 months, the respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.06.2025, and pass orders within a period of 4 (four) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

4.With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
