Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 6, to consider the proposal dated 05.12.2000 sent by the 7th and 8th respondents to the 5th respondent (Director (Finance), TNPL) and the representation dated 13.08.2016 sent by the petitioner Sangam and grant permanency to 13 workers as the employees of TNPL from the dated of their initial appointment and grant time scale of pay and annual periodical increments, arrears of pay as per the proposal dated 05.12.2000 and to remit the EPF contribution to the workers within a time limit to be fixed by this Court.
