Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to revise the salary of the petitioner from 4100-12300-1850 to Rs.18,100/- with effect from 01.01.2016 with subsequent annual increments including the arrears with effect from 01.10.2017 in terms of G.O.Ms.No.91, Tourism, Culture and Endowments (RE4-1) Department, dated 28.06.2019. ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed by a Clerk working in the fourth respondent Temple seeking a Mandamus as against the respondents to revise his salary and increment.

2. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that the fourth respondent has to forward the proposal to the second respondent and the second respondent is the competent authority to take a decision.

Considering the above said facts, the fourth respondent herein is directed to consider the request of the petitioner, dated 20.01.2025 and if found eligible, he is directed to forward the same to the second respondent, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of proposal, the second respondent is directed to dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve (12) weeks, thereafter.

4. With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
