PRAYER : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents to repair the cart track leading to Kovilangulam Village situated in the eastern side of the Aruppukottai to Madurai Main Road in
S.Nos.51, 52, 54, 56, 47, 43 in Kovilangulam Village and fill the same with gravel sand within a time stipulated by this Court by considering the representation given by the Petitioner dated 05.08.2024. For Petitioner :

ORDER
This writ petition is filed for Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents to repair the cart track leading to Kovilangulam Village by considering the representation given by the Petitioner dated 05.08.2024.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the respondents are removing gravel from a nearby pond, which can be used to level the track. Instead of utilizing the same, the respondents have removed it for some other use.
3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the Block Development Officer, Aruppukottai Taluk, Virudhunagar District, is the appropriate authority to
consider this issue. In view of the aforesaid submission, this Court has suo motu impleaded the Block Development Officer as the 4th respondent.
4. Accordingly, the 4th respondent herein/the Block Development Officer is directed to consider the petitioner's claim and pass an orders within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order, as per law.
5. With these observations and directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No Costs.
