ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to grant compensation to the family of the petitioner under the Tamil Nadu Victim Compensation Scheme, 2013, by considering the application submitted by the petitioner on 15.09.2021.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondent submitted that the application submitted by the petitioner is under consideration and that the compensation is being paid year wise/serial number wise and that till now, the claim that has been made in the year 2020 is being paid and as and when the turn of the petitioner comes, the application will be considered and the compensation will be paid to the petitioner.

3. Recording the above, this Writ Petition is disposed of . No costs. NCC : Yes/No 16.11.2023 Index : Yes/No smn2 2/4
