ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/accused who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent 1/3

police for the offences punishable under sections 506(ii) of I.P.C., in Crime No. not known of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that there was love affair between the petitioner and the defacto complainant for about 13 years. At one point of time the petitioner cheated the defacto complainant by taking her jewels. Hence, the complaint. 3.Even though the matter was referred to the Mediation Centre and in spite of the petitioner's appearance before the Mediation Centre, the second respondent has not appeared. Only her counsel appeared. It is also further submitted by the petitioner's counsel that he appeared before the respondent police and came to understand that the above said complaint is going to be dropped. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that so far it has not been closed. Based on the complaint C.S.R.No.368 of 2023 is pending. 5.

Let the parties appear before the respondent police and co-operate with the respondent NO.1, to complete the process of enquiry. Let the respondent police complete the enquiry, within a period of fifteen days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
