ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed by a pensioner, who has retired from TANGEDCO seeking to quash the order passed by the second respondent Insurance Company.

2. The petitioner is a pensioner and he is a beneficiary under the New Health Insurance Scheme, 2022. The petitioner has raised a claim to the second respondent Insurance Company for a sum of Rs.6,00,000/-. However, the second respondent Insurance Company, by their impugned order, dated 28.03.2024 have released only a sum of Rs.1,65,000/-. Aggrieved over the same, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. As per the New Health Insurance Scheme, 2022, an appeal lies before the District Level Empowerment Committee. Therefore, the present writ petition is not maintainable.

4. Granting liberty to the writ petitioner, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition stands closed.
