Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent herein to review the cancellation of patta made by him on 24.06.2009 in respect of the joint patta No.64, which was issued for the petitioner and three others in Sy.No.9/5 of No.18.Ko.Puthupatti Village by the 4th respondent dated 02.04.2008 and restore the same after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and the respondents 8 and 9 herein on the basis of the petitioner's petition pending before him dated 30.10.2010 within a stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court. It is reported by the learned Counsel for the petitioner that this writ petition is filed through the power agent of one N.Nalini. However pending the writ petition, the writ petitioner/ power agent has passed away. 2/5

Therefore notice was sent to the petitioner by registered post on 17.04.2023 and it was returned as 'no such addressee'. A memo dated 20.04.2023 is also filed by the learned Counsel for the petitioner.

2.This petition is filed in the year 2015 and pending without any progress. The notice sent to the petitioner is returned as no such addressee. Therefore this writ petition is closed. No costs.
