ORDER

The Present Writ petition is filed for mandamus to direct the respondent to furnish the records pertaining to the land owned by the petitioner situates in S.F.Nos. 60/1 and 60/3 in Alathur, Chettiapatti Village, Manapparai Taluk, Trichy District, ad-measuring 22 Cents as per the representation sent by the petitioner to the respondent dated 22.07.2025.

2.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submitted that the petitioner is seeking record pertaining to 125 years old. He further submitted that the record is divided as per Zone. Therefore, the respondent/Commissioner is not in a possession of the said record.

3.Recording the same, the respondent/Commissioner is directed to transfer the petitioner's representation dated 22.07.2025 to the

appropriate zone within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. After transferring the petitioner's representation to the concerned zone, the Head of the concerned zone is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.07.2025 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of eight weeks thereafter. 4.With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No Costs.
