Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 26.06.2018 by giving an opportunity of being heard, as expeditiously as possible, within the time stipulated by this Court.

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 26.06.2018.

2. According to the petitioner, her husband, by name Senthilkumar has been implicated in two criminal cases. The

petitioner came to understand that the respondents are taking steps to detain her husband under the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982. In the above circumstances, the petitioner made a representation to the respondents not to detain the petitioner's husband under the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982. That representation was not considered so far. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

3. Today, when the Writ Petition came up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that as on today, there is no proposal pending for detaining the petitioner's husband under the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

4. Recording the aforesaid submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, the Writ Petition stands closed. No costs.
