Respondents Prayer: Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing respondents 2 and 3 herein to remove the petitioner's name from the history sheet record in H.S.No.85 of 2003 on the file of the second respondent police station as per the petitioner's representation dated 11.09.2021 within the time stipulated by this Court.

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

2. The petitioner wants his name to be deleted from the history sheet list maintained by the third respondent. It is not in dispute that the petitioner has not come under the adverse notice of the police for the last two years.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor states that every year during the month of December, an annual review is taken and if no case has been registered against the person concerned for https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

2 W.P.(MD)NO.20987 OF 2021 the preceding two years from the date of annual review, his name will be deleted from the history sheet list.

4. Recording the said submission, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
