ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 and 2 and the learned Government Advocate for the third respondent.

2. It is noted that the petitioner has obtained a judgment and decree in his favour in O.S.No.146 of 2006 against one Selvaraj, dated 14.11.2019. It appears that an appeal was preferred against the said judgment and decree before the SubCourt, Manapparai, in A.S.No.42 of 2020, which was purportedly dismissed on 23.12.2021.

3. The learned Government Advocate for the third respondent submits that if the petitioner produces copies of the aforementioned judgments and decrees, appropriate orders will be passed. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the said documents have already been furnished to the third respondent. Despite the same, the water service connection has not yet been provided to the petitioner.

4. Be that as it may, the petitioner is directed to once again furnish copies of the judgment and decree in O.S.No.146 of 2006 and the judgment of the first appellate Court in A.S.No.42 of 2020 to the third respondent.

5. Upon receipt of the said documents, the third respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders and provide water service connection to the petitioner, after affording an opportunity of hearing to Selvaraj, the fourth defendant in O.S. No.146 of 2006 and the appellant in A.S.No.42 of 2020. This exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
