PRAYER:- Writ Petition - filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to complete the disciplinary proceedings in T.D.P.Case No.02C/2016 pending on the file of the 2nd respondent. Heard Mr.R.P.Ramachanthiran, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.K.Manikkam, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.
2.The mandamus as sought for by the petitioner directing the respondents ie., the District collector, Pudukkottai and the Commissioner, Tribunal for Disciplinary Proceedings, Trichirappalli, to complete disciplinary proceedings in T.D.P.Case No.02C/2016 pending on the file of R2 is issued, as learned Special Government Pleader would confirm that the proceedings are yet pending, and inordinately.
3.A direction is thus issued to the respondents for completion of the proceedings in T.D.P.Case No.02C/2016, after hearing the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from today. 4.This Writ Petition is disposed as above.
