Respondents Prayer: This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to transfer the Crime No.27 of 2020 on the file of the 3rd respondent police to any other jurisdiction police or any other independent investigation agency as possible within the stipulated time prescribed by this Court.

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The petitioner is the defacto complainant in Crime No.27 of 2020 registered on the file of the third respondent for the offences under Sections 406, 420, 294(b) and 506(i) of IPC. 3.Though the FIR was registered as early as 21.03.2020, till date, there is no progress. The petitioner is having a genuine apprehension that the investigation is not proceeding in the right lines. Therefore, the second respondent is directed to issue proceeding for entrusting the investigation in the hands of the Assistant Commissioner of Police, CCB, Madurai City. The Assistant Commissioner of Police, CCB, Madurai City will conclude the investigation and file the final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
