The petitioner seeks limited relief by way of writ of mandamus to direct the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department to take steps to recover the property of the Temple, namely Arulmighu Sree Kaveri Amman Temple.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the official respondents.

3. The petitioner has given several representations calling upon the respondents to take steps to protect the Temple properties. The 1st respondent in and by proceedings in Na.Ka.No. 27825/2023/R3, dated 08.06.2023 has also directed the 4th respondent to take steps to dispose of the petitioner's representation, dated 07.02.2022.

Considering the scope of the relief sought for by the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of, directing the respondents 3 and 4 to conduct necessary enquiry and pass orders on the petitioner's representation, dated 07.02.2022, after hearing the petitioner and all the interested parties. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
