ORDER
The present writ petition has been filed seeking a Certiorarified Mandamus, challenging the impugned order in Na.Ka.No.8084/2023/N2 dated 26.07.2023 issued by the 4th respondent and for a consequential direction to the 4th respondent 3/8
herein to produce and hand over the original medical records, bills and discharge summary related to the Petitioner's Covid-19 treatment, facilitating the petitioner to place it before the 6th Respondent Insurance Company in order to process her medical reimbursement claim of Rs.1,42,635/- pursuant to the provisions of the Government of Tamil Nadu New Health Insurance Scheme, 2016.
2. Heard Mr.P.Saravanakumar, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.J.Ashok, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 5 and Mr.C.Karthik, learned counsel appearing for the 6th respondent.
3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, Mr.P.Saravanakumar, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the 4th respondent/the District Treasury Officer has admitted the availability of the original medical documents submitted by the 4/8
petitioner and the 6th respondent/Insurance Company also proceeded to allow the claim of the petitioner, however, by limiting it to Rs.1,01,760/- instead of his original claim of Rs.1,42,635/-.
4. If the petitioner is still aggrieved in respect of the remaining amount claimed by her, she is at liberty to file an appeal before the District Level Empowering Committee, if so advised.
5. With the above observations, this writ petition is disposed of. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
