Respondents PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Certiorari calling for the records relating to the impugned 'Public Notice to the Teacher Educational Institutions" and the consequential "Instructions for filing up of Affidavit" published by the 2nd respondent National Council for Teacher Education in its official website (http://ncte-india.org), quash the same in so far as they compel the members of the petitioners-consortium (member list annexed) to submit an online Affidavit before 30.11.2016 with an undertaking to adhere to the impugned Instructions therein.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that subsequently, the said Regulations have undergone a sea change and the latest of such Regulations was of the month of October 2022, which the petitioner seeks liberty to challenge in an appropriate proceedings.

3. In view that the Regulations of the National Council of the Teacher Education of the year 2014 have been superseded by subsequent Regulations, no further adjudication is required to be made in these writ petitions. The petitioners are always at liberty to challenge the subsequent notification, if they are aggrieved against.

4. Accordingly, these writ petitions are closed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
