O R D E R

The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to quash the provisional selection list published by the respondent and consequently, direct the respondents to award two additional marks for question numbers 20 and 76 of "C" series question paper.

2. The learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the first respondent brought to the notice of this Court that the two questions disputed by the petitioner had been evaluated properly in respect of all the candidates who appeared in the examination. Thus, no additional marks can be granted with reference to question Nos. 20 and 76 of "C" series question paper.

W.P.(MD)No.2860 of 2015 questions, now the petitioner cannot seek any additional mark so as to reconsider his case. The cut-off marks fixed for MBC category was 96 percentage and the petitioner scored 95 percentage marks. Thus, the petitioner is not within a zone of consideration and accordingly, he was not selected. This apart, the selection was conducted in the year 2015 and the selected candidates were appointed and working for the past about five years.

4. This being the factum, no further consideration needs to be shown and accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
