ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 528 B.N.S.S., seeking orders to direct the second respondent to give adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his properties situated at Mudalur Village, Santhankulam Taluk, Thoothukudi District on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 08.06.2024 and 10.06.2024.

When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the third respondent earlier, CSR Nos.304 and 305 of 2024 came to be registered and after enquiry, the same were closed, that subsequently the third respondent has given another complaint and CSR No.401 of 2024 came to be registered and that was enquired into and closed and that thereafter the petitioner has given the present complaint and on that basis, CSR No. 519 of 2024 came to be registered and is pending.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit 2/4

that civil suit is pending and the third respondent's application to reject the plaint was dismissed and that since the third respondent has been attempting to interfere with the petitioner's possession, he was constrained to lodge a complaint.

4. As rightly contended by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), three complaints already lodged came to be closed.

5. Considering the above, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
