ORDER
The three Writ Petitions related to disposal of Review under Section 13 of the Tamil Nadu Patta Pass Book Act 1983. The order has to be passed by the District Revenue Officer, Thoothukudi. 2.Having heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and also the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents, a direction is issued to the District Revenue Officer, Thoothukudi/second respondent, to dispose of the Review within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after following due procedure by issuing notice to the contesting parties and giving them full opportunity of being heard. This period of 12 weeks is, of course, subject to the parties cooperating during the course of hearing. 3.
If the District Revenue Officer, Thoothukudi, is of the opinion that proper co-operation is not extended, then the period of 12 weeks may be extended to a further period of 4 weeks and at any rate within an outer limit of 16 weeks, the Review should be heard and disposed of by the District Revenue Officer, Thoothukudi. 4.All the Writ Petitions are allowed. No costs.
